For measuring items up to 2 meters with accuracy up to 0.1 mm, a measuring tape is best.
In our measurements, we use a high-precision measuring tape. We often receive photo measurements taken with a construction tape measure.

Why might measurements with a tape measure differ?
It’s called a construction tape measure because of its intended field of use. The key difference between a tape measure and a measuring tape is that the former is more commonly used for measuring large dimensions, from 1 meter and above. Therefore, it’s important to remember that length measurements with a tape measure have a margin of error up to 1-1.2 cm, while a high-precision measuring tape is accurate to within 1 mm.

If the product description indicates that the model runs small, it is recommended to choose footwear one size larger. If it’s indicated that it runs large, choose one size smaller than your usual size.
