General tips
Before using new shoes, we recommend protecting them from external factors such as sun, dirt, moisture, etc. using special products. For smooth leather, this could be a transparent cream or shoe wax. For suede, nubuck, or velour, use a special moisture and dirt repellent.
Never, under any circumstances, wash designer shoes and products made from natural materials. This destroys the leather, causing it to shed, shrink, and deform. Always choose professional and environmentally friendly products for treating your shoes. Before using any cleaning or shoe care products, read the instructions and test the product on an inconspicuous area of the shoe.
We recommend drying shoes after rain or cleaning at room temperature, if possible in a ventilated room, avoiding heating appliances or direct sunlight.
To keep your shoes in shape during storage between seasons, use special wooden or plastic shoe trees, or stuff them with white paper towels.
Natural suede/split leather/nubuck
Take care of your suede shoes before wearing them by using a moisture and dirt repellent for suede.
To keep suede, velour, or nubuck shoes in good condition, simply brush the top of the dried shoes regularly with a dry, clean, medium-stiff brush to remove dirt from the surface. Do not do this when the shoes are wet, as this will only make the situation worse and cause the dirt to stick more firmly.
Cleaning suede shoes with foam at home:
- Choose professional, proven products for cleaning suede and velour.
- Suede/velour can only be cleaned with a brush: rags and sponges will have a negative effect.
- Clean suede/nubuck/velour thoroughly, evenly saturating the entire product with the product and cleaning with a brush using strokes along and against the grain (not circular).
- If excess foam remains on the material after cleaning, blot it with a microfiber cloth or napkin (but do not rub).
- It is best to dry at room temperature with form retainers inside, away from radiators and heaters (if velour dries out, it will harden and may crack over time).
- During and after drying, lift the pile with a dry medium-stiff brush or a special rubber brush.
For stubborn stains on velour, such as food, cosmetics, etc., it is best to immediately contact a professional dry cleaner. Before storing shoes between seasons, we recommend having them professionally cleaned to remove dirt, restore shape, moisturize the pile, and refresh the color.
Natural fur with long pile
To keep your fur shoes in good condition, it is enough to regularly brush the top of dry shoes with a medium-stiff dry brush to remove dirt from the surface. Do not do this when the shoes are wet, as this will only make the situation worse and the dirt will stick more firmly!
Natural fur does not tolerate prolonged contact with water well. Therefore, do not wear fur shoes in rain or snow. If the fur does get wet, first let it dry at room temperature, and then you can style it with a hair dryer at a low temperature and a comb.
We do not recommend wet cleaning fur at home. It is better to contact a professional dry cleaner if necessary.
Patent leather
Patent leather shoes require delicate care. Patent leather cannot be cleaned with a brush or damp cloth. After wearing the shoes, clean the dirty surface of the patent leather with a slightly damp, clean, soft cloth and then carefully wipe it dry. You can also apply a special lacquer product and polish with a flannel cloth for shine.
We do not recommend wearing patent leather shoes at temperatures below 0°C – the lacquer coating may freeze and crack. Patent leather shoes should be stored at moderate humidity to avoid drying out the lacquer coating.
Smooth leather
To keep your leather shoes in good condition, simply brush the top of the dried shoes regularly with a dry brush with natural bristles or a dry, clean cotton cloth to remove dirt from the surface.
If dirt or water gets on smooth leather shoes, you can wipe them with a cotton cloth dampened with clean water. Do not use alcohol wipes or household sponges for cleaning, as they can leave marks and remove paint.
For care, we recommend regularly treating the leather with a colorless cream. To do this, apply a small amount of cream to a cotton cloth or special sponge and rub it into the leather in circular motions until the cream is completely absorbed.
How to clean smooth leather at home:
- Always start cleaning from the sole to avoid transferring dirt to the surface of the shoe.
- Choose professional, proven shoe cleaning products.
To avoid damaging the leather, choose a brush with natural horsehair. - We recommend drying shoes on shoe trees at room temperature, away from heaters and radiators (as leather dries out and loses its elasticity).
- After drying, apply shoe cream that matches the color of the leather (shoes) or treat with a colorless cream to restore the oiliness of the leather.
- Waxing or rubbing with cream should be done with a sponge, natural brush, or soft cloth.
SOLES:
Thermoplastic rubber (sole)
Dirt from thermo rubber soles can be removed with a synthetic bristle brush and soapy water or shoe foam. If there are traces of mechanical abrasion, these streaks can be removed with an eraser or a microfiber cloth dampened with soapy water — just rub the area thoroughly.

Do not dry shoes on heaters, as the rubber may melt and deform.
