For smooth leather, this can be a transparent shoe cream or wax. For suede, nubuck, or velour, use a special water- and dirt-repellent product.  <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Under no circumstances should you wash dress shoes or products made from natural materials. This destroys the leather, causes fading, shrinkage, and deformation of the footwear. Always choose professional and eco-friendly products for treating your footwear. Before using any cleaning or care products for footwear, read the instructions and test the product on an inconspicuous area of the shoe.   <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We recommend drying footwear after rain or cleaning at room temperature, preferably in a well-ventilated area, avoiding heating devices or direct sunlight.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">To maintain the shape of your footwear during off-season storage, use special wooden or plastic shoe trees, or fill them with white paper towels.<\/p>\n<p><\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Natural Velour \/ Nubuck \/ Suede<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Take care of your velour footwear before use by applying a water- and dirt-repellent product for suede.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">To maintain the good condition of suede, velour, or nubuck footwear, it is sufficient to regularly brush the surface of dried footwear with a dry, clean medium-stiffness brush to remove dirt from the surface. Do not do this when wet\u2014this will only worsen the situation and allow dirt to set in more firmly. <\/p>\n<p><\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Cleaning suede footwear with foam at home:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Choose professional, trusted products for cleaning nubuck and velour.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Suede\/velour can only be cleaned with a brush: cloths and sponges will have a negative effect.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Suede\/nubuck\/velour must be cleaned completely, evenly saturating the entire product with the product and brushing with movements along and against the nap (not circular).<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If excess foam remains on the material during cleaning, blot it with microfiber or a napkin (but do not rub).<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It is best to dry with shoe trees inside at room temperature, away from radiators and heaters (velour will harden from overdrying and may crack over time).<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">During drying and afterward, raise the nap with a dry medium-stiffness brush or a special rubber brush.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">For difficult stains on velour, such as from food products, cosmetics, etc., it is better to immediately contact a professional dry cleaner. Before storing footwear between seasons, we recommend comprehensive care by professionals to remove dirt, restore shape, moisturize the nap, and refresh the color. <\/p>\n<p><\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Natural Long-Pile Fur<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">To maintain the good condition of fur footwear, it is sufficient to regularly brush the surface of dried footwear with a dry medium-stiffness brush to remove dirt from the surface. Do not do this when wet\u2014this will only worsen the situation and allow dirt to set in more firmly! <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Natural fur does not tolerate prolonged contact with water. Therefore, you should not wear fur footwear in rain or snow. If the fur does get wet, first allow it to dry at room temperature, and then you can style it using a hairdryer on low heat and a comb.  <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We do not recommend wet cleaning fur at home. It is better to contact a professional dry cleaner if necessary. <\/p>\n<p><\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Patent Leather<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Patent leather footwear requires delicate care. Patent leather cannot be cleaned with a brush or damp cloth. After wearing, clean the soiled patent surface with a slightly damp, clean, soft cloth and then carefully dry it. You can also apply a special patent leather product and polish it with a flannel cloth for shine.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We do not recommend wearing patent leather footwear at temperatures below 0\u00b0C\u2014the patent coating may freeze and crack. Patent leather footwear should be stored at moderate humidity to avoid drying out the patent coating. <\/p>\n<p><\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Smooth Leather<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">To maintain the good condition of leather footwear, it is sufficient to regularly brush the surface of dried footwear with a dry natural-bristle brush or a dry, clean cotton cloth to remove dirt from the surface.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If dirt or water gets on smooth leather footwear, it can be wiped with a cotton cloth moistened in clean water. Do not use alcohol-based wet wipes or household cleaning sponges, as they may leave marks and remove dye. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">For care, we recommend regularly treating the leather with colorless cream. To do this, apply a small amount of cream to a cotton cloth or special sponge and rub it into the leather in circular motions until the cream is fully absorbed. <\/p>\n<p><\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>How to clean smooth leather at home:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Always start cleaning from the sole so as not to transfer dirt to the surface of the footwear.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Choose professional, trusted footwear cleaning products.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">To avoid damaging the leather, choose a brush with natural horsehair.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We recommend drying footwear on shoe trees at room temperature, away from heaters and radiators (as leather dries out and loses its elastic properties).<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">After drying, apply shoe cream matching the leather (footwear) color or treat with colorless cream to restore the leather&#8217;s oils.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Waxing or cream application should be done with a sponge, natural brush, or soft cloth.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h5><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Soles:<\/p>\n<p><\/span><\/h5>\n<p><strong>Thermoplastic Rubber (Sole)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Dirt from thermoplastic rubber soles can be removed with a synthetic-bristle brush and soapy solution or shoe foam. If there are marks from mechanical scuffs, these streaks can be removed with an eraser or a textured microfiber cloth moistened in soapy solution\u2014simply rub the area thoroughly. <\/p>\n<p><\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Rubber<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Dirt from rubber soles can be removed with a synthetic-bristle brush and soapy solution or shoe foam.
